One Response to “Con Job”

  1. Larry says:

Great article to remind us that a “college education” often times can present a sense of ever learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of truth.

The soul of the sluggard (a lazy man) desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. Proverbs 13:4

Thomas Jefferson said, “The harder I work, the more luck I seem to have.”

In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
    Proverbs 14:23

It is a far more “spiritual” experience to be working at the end of a hole handle than day- dreaming on a park bench.

For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags. Proverbs 23:21

A “Successful Man” is the man that finds out what the will of God is for his life….and then does it.

Its hard to improve on an infallible text, the Holy Bible: “He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” Matthew 10:39

Maybe in the next Commencement Speech a little “reality” would be to tell the college graduates: “Work hard, millions on welfare depend upon you.”
