    Good point. Colossians 3:4 addresses the single person’s journey: “When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” For Christ followers, our truest life has not yet appeared in its fullness. We are betrothed to Christ, essentially married to him as his bride. That is now, even though it’s not apparent to many. We are already married. Hence, the single person is married in one sense.
